Per-display docks
Up to ten docks, each with its own apps, its own edge, its own position along it. One chord shows or hides each, and every dock follows its display through unplugs, replugs and sleep.
The side screen's dock answers ⌃⌘2; ⌃⌘3 stacks a second bar over the main screen's dock. Under auto-hide, a stacked pair reveals and hides as one surface.
⌃⌘1 through ⌃⌘9 show or hide docks one to nine, and ⌃⌘0 the tenth. Muscle memory, not mousing.
Drag docks into a new order in Settings and the chords reassign live: whatever sits first answers to ⌃⌘1. Each dock's current chord is shown right in the list.
Each dock picks where it sits along its edge: centred, or pushed to one end. Put your project dock hard left and your utilities hard right, and one edge comfortably holds two.
The reveal band moves with it. A hidden dock answers only on its own stretch of the edge: point at the far side and nothing appears, because nothing lives there.
Each dock is keyed to a stable identity of its display, not to a slot number. Unplug the monitor, plug it back tomorrow: its dock comes home. Replugging can't shuffle your docks onto the wrong screen.
